Big Break Video Competition 2015

Create your own Supercheap Auto ad and you could get your Big Break, just like the winners of last year’s competition.

 

#1 Place Winner Big Break 2014

The six very lucky winning film students from Brisbane picked up a $20,000 cash prize and more than $150,000’s worth of national television airtime after they took pole position in the 2014 Bathurst Big Break competition.

The winners were QUT students, including Nick Harris, Nicholas Laube, Michael Turner, Mateuse Pingol, Briana Goodchild and Anwen Towne. The students raced ahead of nine other finalists to take out the number one spot!

The winning video, ‘Fuelling His Desires’ was created as a single camera production assignment as part of their course. It was shortlisted for the top 10 by an expert panel and put to consumer vote throughout September 2o14. It was filmed on a very tight budget, starring two of the team’s friends, which gained more than 17,000 votes!

 

#2 Place Winner Big Break 2014

Second place went to Sydney film maker Kacey Baker’s ‘The Grub‘ with close to 15,000 votes.

 

#3 Place Winner Big Break 2014

With the third place going to Wollongong-based Jamie Lepre’s ‘SuperCHARGED’.
