We gave our Club Plus members the chance to appear in our calendar. Meet Michael, the winner for March. Michael is the owner of this sleek 2004 Holden Series III Monaro. We’ve asked Michael to share a little more information about his pride and joy…
How long have you have owned the Monaro?
I have now be the proud owner of this Monaro over the past five years. The Monaro was purchased of a one owner with all documentation from new. It has now travelled 62,000kms, which is relatively low for the age of the car. The Monaro was purchased as a toy only purely for weekend enjoyment!
It looks to be in impeccable condition. Can you tell us more about any custom work, rebuilds or modifications done to the car?
The Monaro has had some mods like a Big Mouth Air Filter Assembly, Extractors/Exhaust, High Flow Cats and a VCM Suite Tune. Vroom Vroom!
Are you part of any Car Clubs?
Unfortunately with my busy work schedule I don’t have the time to be part of a car club. But when I have a spare Sunday, I say to my wife that I am going to have a ‘Monaro Day’. This means a full on detail, all day. I reckon I have more polish and cleaners than Supercheap Auto! Most polishes are pretty good, however Autoglym and Meguiar’s are my preferred polishes and cleaning products.
Keep an eye out in April as we’ll talk with Benjamin Fuhler about his 1971 Valiant Charger!
