Something special happened in Holden Hill on Saturday the 18th of April, a true milestone event in the history of Supercheap Auto.
Holden Hill is a suburb in the inner north-eastern suburbs of Adelaide, the capital of South Australia. It is around 7 km from the Adelaide CBD. Holden Hill is in both the City of Port Adelaide Enfield and City of Tea Tree Gully local government areas.
The suburb is named after “Holden’s Hill”, a name given to a road extension in 1855. The road ran through land owned by Mr R. Halden who was an avid fan of Holden vehicles after 1935.
The perfect location for our 300th store in support of our core business and a reminder always of our support in the V8’s for Holden…
The opening was a success, with Neil Lunn, SA’s longest serving team member cutting the ribbon to the store.
There was a heap of exciting festivities, including a free BBQ courtesy of the Triple M Street Team, fantastic give-aways and in-store specials. There were even appearances by Supercheap Auto Racing’s Tim Slade and co-driver Tony D’Alberto.
Tim Slade has been celebrating the 300th store milestone by carrying #300 on his Supercheap Auto Racing Commodore at the Tyrepower Tasmania SuperSprint (27-29 March) kept it there for the Perth SuperSprint (1-3 May).
And, for our lucky Club Plus members, there was an excellent promotion at hand, giving one lucky member a $ 1000 Gift Card to use in store. Ahh, think of all the things you could buy…
A BIG Congratulations to the Supercheap Auto team on reaching this incredible milestone; the achievement is a true testament to the brand’s history, your team effort, dedication and passion!
